First time we played the course and it is fantastic great facilities, wonderful course well worth the green fee, throughly recommend will play it again.
Rude, entitled men who think it's acceptable to shout at visitors to Knole Park to move out of their way. It does not reflect well on Knole Park Golf Club, to say the least. There is no signage to delineate Knole Park as a public park and a private golf club so people will naturally go onto the grass. You can ask not yell. As a previous reviewer has pointed out, the club would be wise to better educate their members on decorum and on the ancient rights of way, which pre-date the existence of their golf club by a few thousand years.
Knole Park was a unique & cool experience! There were some incredible views & wild deer that made it so special. Unfortunately had some steal our golf ball & a little too much public traffic for it to be Top Notch. Otherwise the staff, facility & golf course is superb!
Had an excellent playing lesson with James McGilvray last weekend. He does just the right amount of coaching in a positive way to make it an enjoyable round and also a productive learning experience. Thank you!!
Lovely parkland course in mint condition, lots of footpaths across holes at times was frustrating for £120. Herds of wild dear roaming was sublime.
The management needs to do more to inform the players that there are multiple ancient rights of way that run through the land. Far too often I am told to "keep off" the golf course by misinformed elderly men, who think I need to take a different route or wait for them to play so they don't have to pay attention to their surroundings. These rights of way date back hundreds of years, and if you hit someone who is walking on them because you didn't pay attention - well it is your assault charge so your choice.
Very warm welcome , friendly people. Good golf course, fast greens.
Just the most wonderful, natural golf course, winding its way around the Deer Park and every hole a delight and a good challenge. Highly recommended, especially on a Summer’s evening!!
